While we fundraise for our new staff housing building, the Aceh staff have a pressing deadline coming up soon which needs all their focus and attention. The staff is preparing to pass the government health department clinic accreditation process under new regulations. Our Bali and Lombok clinics have passed this rigourous and stressful process and now it's Aceh's turn. What this means is that all of our clinics, one by one, will be fully accreddited in line with the new national regulations. Once the Aceh clinic certification is completed, the Papua clinic will need to undergo the process. Then, all the clinics will be fully certified in line with new and updated health department regulations.
Once this challenging and lengthy process is done for the Aceh clinic, and our staff has successfully passed their accreditation, they will be able to turn their attention to designing and building the new staff housing project. We anticipate being able to break ground for the new building within a few months.
In 2023, Bumi Sehat Aceh delivered 570 prenatal checkups, 50 babies and 9,985 medical exams for general patients.
