Build Safe Homes for Vulnerable Families
Project Overview
The Build Safe Homes for Vulnerable Families project, implemented by Sathkara Social Service Foundation, aims to provide safe and dignified housing for underprivileged families across Sri Lanka. The project seeks to support families living in unsafe, damaged, or inadequate housing conditions by helping them access secure and permanent homes.
Current Project Status
Unfortunately, we have not yet received sufficient funding to commence the planned activities under this project. Although we are committed to helping vulnerable families obtain safe housing, the funds raised so far are insufficient to begin the planned construction work.
As a result, we have not yet been able to start implementing this project. Many families continue to face housing difficulties, and additional financial support is essential to turn our plans into reality.
Funding Requirements
Additional donations are needed to purchase construction materials, cover labor costs, and meet other essential expenses associated with building safe homes for families in need. Securing adequate funding is the most important step toward beginning the project.
Future Plans and Fundraising Efforts
Sathkara Social Service Foundation remains committed to achieving the objectives of this project. We will continue our fundraising efforts and reach out to individuals, organizations, and international donors to secure the financial resources needed to begin construction.
Once sufficient funding is available, we plan to start implementing the project and gradually extend our support to vulnerable families who urgently need safe and secure housing.
Conclusion
Every family deserves a safe place to live. Although insufficient funding has delayed the implementation of this project, we remain hopeful and determined to make it a reality. We will continue working to raise the necessary funds and welcome the support of donors and well-wishers who share our vision of providing safe homes and a better future for vulnerable families in Sri Lanka.
