Thanks to your generous contributions we have been able to learn more about what our community needs to make lasting impact on literacy skills!
We had another successful training in San Francisco where we were able to unveil the website to participants. They were thrilled to have the additional resource. Attendess included pre-school teachers, parents, educators, and community leadesr. They have provided us with invaluable feedback on how to help develop this resource to more directly support their children and students.
To date, we have supported six families directly with follow-up information and assessments to provide more detailed information. These more personal interactions have helped us to know that we are on the right track. Their feedback included, "This is exactly what I needed but didn't know existed" and, "I am going to keep coming to the workshops to learn all I can".
