We are excited to update you on our progress!
The first phase of the website is almost finished and we look forward to getting feedback from users. In this initial phase, we will use it as a follow-up to our presentations and trainings. We will continue building the website, which will consist of creating more detailed information over the next few months. When the second phase is complete and the website is ready for a broader audience, we will have an official launch celebration.
We have begun training people in San Francisco, CA and Fremont, CA on how to administer an informal assessment that is aligned with the website. We will be refining the training process at these locations to make sure we have developed an effective training process before launching it more publicly.
We are very pleased to announce that will begin another training with parents at Support for Families of Children with Disablities. Working closely with these parents has been invaluable. They have come up with suggestions for follow-up trainings and have suggested creating a parent-led tutoring collective so that they can exchange free tutoring services with other families.
Thank you so much for your support in launching MODReading's website. We look forward to updating you again soon.
All the best,
Beth
