THE MAGIC OF READING
Reading is a magical adventure that helps to be more imaginative, creative, and to develop critical and analytical thinking skills.
The Literacy Connections program promotes the creation of books, unpublished stories, leadership, empathy, respect, tolerance, among others, as strategies for social change, and through art they can express feelings and emotions.
In the image, a girl and a boy from a community decided to create giant unpublished stories to teach other children to create their own stories. They let their imagination run wild, and were able to inspire others.
TESTIMONY OF THE GIRL AND BOY IN THE PHOTOGRAPH:
-We believe that this type of initiative helps us to discover all our abilities and skills. It helps us to fall in love with reading, and to be aware that knowledge gives us power.
-We want all children to love reading, and with this we are going to achieve many changes in their way of thinking and acting.
To continue making our children's dreams come true, we need to continue to have your collaboration, in addition to sharing our success stories so that other people get on this boat.
