NEW GOAL: Help us reach 20,000 Children!

Hello!
Our home library program has reached over 16,000 children and families thanks to generous donors like you!
We initially aimed to reach 1,000 children, but your support has helped us far surpass that milestone.

Home Libraries Reaching Over 1000 Children

Exciting News!
We are thrilled to share that our Home Library Program is now reaching children from California to New Jersey. With your support, our efforts are widespread and making a significant impact in communities across the country. Last year alone we placed home libraries into the homes of over 20,000 children. When children and parents read together, postive change happens!
Our national parent survey from 2024 highlights the transformative power of shared reading routines:
- 94% of families established a shared reading routine (up from 53% before Raising a Reader).
- Families spent an average of 22 minutes reading together, compared to just 12 minutes before Raising a Reader.
- 87% of families believed their child was ready for school, compared to 45% before.
Your continued support is helping us reach more children, providing them with the resources they need to foster a love for reading and learning. Together, we are making a difference, one book at a time.

Our Home Libraries are Making an Impact

Having reached our initial goal of 1000+ Home Libraries, we are working to scale this reach, ensuring more children have access to books in their homes.
