Thousands of street-connected children in Nigerian's slum communities lack safe places to live, learn, and build independent futures. Voice to the Street is creating a Safe Village for 200 children with safe homes, a school, library, clinic, entrepreneurship hub, and farm. This campaign will help secure the first 3-5 acres of land and lay the groundwork for the first-year development and running of a community where children can thrive.
Thousands of street-connected children in Nigeria lack safe places to live, learn, and develop the skills needed for independent lives. Many face barriers to education, healthcare, and stable family support, increasing their risk of exploitation and long-term poverty. This project will create opportunities for 200 vulnerable children by building a safe and supportive community.
VTS will establish a Safe Village for 100 street-connected children, beginning with the purchase of 3-5 acres of land. The village will include safe homes, a school, library, clinic, entrepreneurship hub, and farm, providing education, healthcare, life skills, and practical training to help children grow into healthy and independent adults.
The VTS Safe Village will provide 100 street-connected children with long-term access to education, healthcare, safe housing, and vocational opportunities. The project will break cycles of poverty and exclusion while creating a sustainable community where children can build independent futures and contribute positively to society for generations to come.
