Dog Houses
Dog Houses

Hello everybody, FRAD´s friends¡¡

Christmas time has came , that all we know, until mother earth has announced that it has reached the most beautiful time of the year , everyone always say that, the commerce also notice it , but more to buy things , human beings become better persons in this time, giving an area of their  lives and occupations, to remind friends , gifts , visiting family , and of course to help as you have done in recent months , to achieve our mission to help mistreated and abandoned animals in Cartagena.

And continuing with amazing stories about our animals and giving our thanks , we want to tell that has happened in FRAD , since the last time we wrote :

Remember that dogs  were recieving the first houses , all equipped with the best canine style : Large single room with mattresses and carpet, ceiling with wooden shutters in natural finish with plastic protection from the sun and rain, for living dog large and medium , 8 and 3 dogs, respectively.

Well, this total must add three ( 3) , are few , but our carpenter has had much work since November , was a month that Cartagena spent the holidays of Independence Day and week, until now Christmas, and everything becomes slower delivery of more houses. These 3 are for medium-sized dogs , but as we see in the photos, our beloved Juancho who is a small dog, who clearly likes the house spacious and warm atmosphere.

OUR TEAM COULDN’T WAIT TO THINK.

As thinking about continuing to invest the funding, and continued to the next step: to ensure that animals weren’t  injured by cars who use the service veterinary clinic or just to know the dogs and cats for adoption. The director of the foundation raised the idea of a mesh enclosure supported with stakes, and what do they think, this was done¡¡, but we had another problem:  Dogs jumped like acrobats, can you believe? The solution was:  Make the highest mesh.

Above all, the best thing was that our animals are so happy with their homes, and those who have do not want to leave it, because before wandering around to see if they captured a loving visitor or volunteers , now just want to sleep and sleep is your new home, sweet home sweet.

MOISES , IN MEMORIAM :  KIND , SMART DONKEY AND LOYALTY ANIMAL FRIEND

We want to give some sad news , Moises remind our dear donkey, our  “bell”, he used to bray when someone came and brayed “goodbye” to all visitors , died on November 16 , his death was  sad , who doesn´t hurt when someone loved die. It was suddenly , our veterinary and medical director told us that he suffered a heart attack. The widow , his girlfriend and beautiful donkey , Tola , was sad, but with the support of volunteers has managed to overcome . Continue still hoping to also give a permanent roof Tola , as Moises and she ended up devouring all the wood part to their stable, but if it rains, tola is carried to the veterinary hospital and office, which was a garage to protect  her from water.

Finally, to each one helpers : THANKS A LOT for helping¡¡

Don’t forget that even still expect more donations to fund our project , share it with your friends and family¡¡

FRAD WISHES YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 , IF YOU LIVE IN LONELINESS AND THIS TIME IS SAD FOR YOU, BE A VOLUNTEER A FOUNDATION FOR ANIMALS, THEY WILL RETURN  AN INFINITE THANKS MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER HUMAN.
