Fundraising for our projects this year has come with its challenges, and we have received our share of regret letters. While we had hoped to begin developing our donated land by the third quarter, plans have taken a little longer than expected.
That said, we remain steadfast in our mission. Our ongoing literacy project continues, even with limited financial and human resources. Library visits and literacy sessions have significantly increased, thanks to the dedication of our staff, who are constantly learning and adapting to meet the evolving needs of the young people we serve.
In August, under our Education Program, we partnered with BirdWatch Zambia, a nonprofit organization that connects birds, natural environments, and communities. Through this collaboration, we aim to introduce children early on to the importance of conservation and the value of coexisting peacefully with nature.
We are keeping our heads high and remain hopeful for greater progress in the final quarter of 2025.
