This Is What a Meal at School Makes Possible

“Without the meals, I wouldn’t have made it this far.”

Jane's dreams of becoming an engineer, but not long ago, staying in school felt uncertain.

After being abandoned by his parents, Jane used to leave on streets selling eggs just to survive. Some days, he had to miss school to earn a small income.

When Gaba hope for kids Meals Program began , everything changed.

Knowing he would receive meals at school meant Jane could stay in class, focus on his studies, and complete primary school among the top students in his class. Today, he continues his education at school through our Scholarship Fund.

Teachers tell us they see this again and again: when a meal is waiting at school, children stay, and they learn.
