Kiwbanda - The Idjwi Island Pygmies

Meal a day plus an egg
Meal a day plus an egg

Dear Donors,

It is with great excitement that I update you on some of what has happened recently in Rwanda, Cyaruzinge Village. The Irerero Feed the Children program is a huge success. With the addition of the classroom, it makes it possible to have enough space for all of the children to eat their porridge and the government gives them enough milk to be able to give all 170 children a cup of milk one or two times a week, and we have added a hard-boiled egg once a week to increase the amount of protein in their diet. So now all the children from three- months old to six years are receiving one meal for every day the school is open. Children three through sex need to be attending school to receive food.
