International Intern's experince with BPK

We work with young people from across the world providing them with real work experince that they can use to develop thier professionalisim.

Here is an account from our most recent International Intern from Santa Clara:

For the past month, I was able to experience more hands on work, spending the first half of the week in the office and the second half mainly at Brixton Peoples Kitchen. During my time at Brixton People's Kitchen,  I've not only taken part in cooking and food preparation but also interacted with many people from all walks of life. Talking with different customers at Brixton Peoples Kitchen and interacting with the children on The Food Bus was especially fun. It's good to see Be Enriched's impact on its community in person.  

I was also taking many photos and videos of my experiences and making posts. Thanks to this, I was able to learn valuable skills, such as how to use CapCut. I also worked on improving my design skills using Canva as well as getting better at taking photographs. Beyond making posts, I also learned a lot about analytics through reviewing the companies social media posts. I became more adept at navigating tools such as Meta Business Suite, which I never interacted with before.  

Overall, I think I gained valuable experience and improved my own abilities while doing something meaningful. The past month has certainly been very enjoyable because of the wide range of activities, people, and places I interacted with. I also was able to better understand the inner workings of a company with how different pieces and people interact with each other.
