In Al-Ihtimalat Camp in northern Syria, where families continue to struggle to secure the basic necessities of life, we visited the family of one of the girls who received financial assistance from AMAL ALUMMA ORGANIZATION.
We may not be able to change every circumstance this family is facing, nor can we erase years of hardship. But we can help carry part of the burden.
The assistance delivered to the family was more than financial support. It was a means of helping them meet essential needs, but it was also a humanitarian message that reached their hearts before it reached their hands.
In the child’s face, we saw the true meaning of humanitarian work. A child who deserves to think about school, play, and the future—not about whether her family can afford its most basic needs.
We continue our work because behind every number on a beneficiary list is a family with a story, a child with dreams, and parents doing everything they can to provide a better life for their children despite the hardship surrounding them.
With the support of compassionate donors, we can turn a donation into tangible assistance, assistance into a moment of relief, and that moment of relief into renewed hope for an entire family.
