In the displacement camps of Gaza, a hot meal may seem like something simple, but for a family facing difficult circumstances, it can represent a moment of genuine relief.
Amal Alumma Organization continues to implement hot meal distribution projects for displaced Palestinian families in the camps, providing dignified meals to families struggling to meet their daily needs.
During our distributions, we do not see numbers alone. We meet mothers, fathers, and children, each carrying a different story. A child waiting for their meal, a mother thanking the team because she can return to her children with food, and a family sharing a meal inside a tent they are still trying to make feel like home.
These meals cannot solve all their problems, but they provide something deeply important: the feeling that someone cares.
And that is why we continue—because true humanitarian work begins when we see the human being before we see the need.
