In Ehtimlat Camp in northern Syria, where many displaced families continue to live in difficult circumstances, Amal Alumma Organization provided a financial sponsorship to the child shown in the photo, as part of its ongoing efforts to care for orphaned children and support their families.
Orphaned children face additional challenges amid poverty and displacement, and regular assistance can provide important support to their families in meeting daily needs. Through our sponsorship program, we aim to provide assistance that helps children overcome some of these hardships and live with greater stability and dignity.
The photo captures a meaningful moment from this act of compassion, with the child standing alongside our team and holding the sponsorship card—a moment that reflects the importance of standing beside children who need care and support.
Sponsoring an orphan is an investment in their humanity and future. It is a message that tells them: You are not alone.
