As part of Amal Alumma Organization’s efforts to support displaced and vulnerable families, our team distributed bread to the family of the young boy shown in the photo in Friendship Camp in northern Syria.
Displaced families living in the camp face difficult living conditions, rising food prices, and limited sources of income, making it challenging to secure their basic daily needs. Among these essential needs, bread remains a fundamental part of the families’ daily food supply.
The assistance was delivered directly to the family, with the young boy present as he received the bread. This moment reflects the true meaning of humanitarian work: even a simple contribution can help provide an essential food item and ease part of a family’s daily burden.
A loaf of bread may seem simple, but for a family living through displacement and hardship, it can mean an essential meal and an added sense of care and security.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to supporting this initiative. Because of your generosity, we can continue delivering bread to more families in need across the displacement camps of northern Syria.
