In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, the child Adam is growing up under circumstances very different from the childhood he deserves. Having lost his father, he has been forced from an early age to face a reality filled with hardship and deprivation.
As part of our orphan sponsorship program, Amal Alumma Organization provided financial sponsorship for Adam, offering support to him and his family as they struggle with some of the daily burdens they face.
For a child living in displacement, a financial sponsorship may seem like simply an amount of money, but in reality, it means so much more: food when it is desperately needed, essential needs that can be met, and the feeling that someone cares about him and his future.
We believe that an orphan needs more than financial assistance. Above all, they need to feel that they are not forgotten—that there are caring hearts far away thinking of them and working to give them a better chance in life.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to Adam’s sponsorship. Your generosity does not simply reach his hands; it reaches the heart of a child who has lost one of the most important sources of security in his life.
