At the doorstep of a modest home in Ahtimlat Camp, northern Syria, we delivered bread to this child’s family, hoping to ease some of the burdens faced by displaced families.
The child held the bread his family received in his arms with a small smile that carried a powerful message. What may seem simple to us can mean a basic meal, a moment of relief, and the feeling that someone has not forgotten their struggle.
This support is more than simply distributing bread; it is a message of solidarity reaching the family’s doorstep, telling them: You are not alone.
Through the generosity of our donors, we can continue reaching children and families most in need and providing essential support to help them face the harsh realities of displacement.
Thank you to everyone whose generosity puts bread on a family’s table and a smile on a child’s face.
