Support Orphans and Families in Gaza & Syria

In one of the displacement camps in northern Syria, the orphaned child Yusuf lives in Ahtimlat Camp, where difficult living conditions make even the most basic daily needs a constant challenge for his family.

As part of its orphan sponsorship program, Amal Alumma Organization provided financial assistance to Yusuf to support his family and help them meet some of the financial burdens they face under the difficult circumstances experienced by families in the camp.

A financial sponsorship may seem simple on the surface, but for a family living with limited resources, it can mean so much. It can help provide some of the child’s essential needs while giving his family the reassurance that they are not facing these challenges alone.

Most importantly, the sponsorship carries a deeper message: someone remembered Yusuf, someone cares about his future, and someone wants him to experience his childhood with dignity and hope despite everything he has been through.

Every time we reach an orphaned child in the camps, we are reminded that behind every photograph is a human story, and behind every smile is a child hoping for an opportunity to feel safe and cared for.
