Because of your generosity, we were able to reach Hamed’s family in Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria with much-needed financial assistance. Hamed lives with a visual impairment and an intellectual disability, making him completely dependent on the love and constant care of his family. In the harsh reality of displacement, where even the simplest necessities are difficult to obtain, his family carries an especially heavy burden every single day.

For Hamed’s parents, every day begins with the same question: how can they provide food, medicine, and the care their son needs while struggling to survive themselves? The weight of poverty is made even greater by the responsibility of caring for a child with special needs, leaving them with few options and countless worries.

It enabled the family to purchase essential food, medicine, and daily necessities, easing a burden they had carried for far too long.
