In Talalin Camp in northern Syria, where displaced families face harsh living conditions and endless daily challenges, orphaned child Shahd lives with her mother, who struggles alone to provide for her family after the loss of its primary breadwinner.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, we were able to deliver a comprehensive food basket to Shahd’s family, helping them secure essential food supplies and easing some of the burdens her mother faces amid the difficult economic conditions affecting displaced families.
For Shahd, this food basket was more than just a collection of food items—it was a message of hope and compassion, reminding her that there are people who care about her future and well-being. For her mother, the assistance provided much-needed reassurance and support in ensuring that her daughter would have access to nutritious meals in the coming weeks.
The hardships faced by orphaned children in displacement camps highlight the importance of continued humanitarian support and collective efforts to reach as many vulnerable families as possible. Through your generosity, we can bring smiles to children's faces and help struggling families confront life's challenges with dignity and hope.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Your contributions do more than provide food—they bring hope, stability, and comfort to some of the most vulnerable families in northern Syria.
