Dear GlobalGiving Donors,
Amid the difficult living conditions faced by thousands of civilians in northern Syria, elderly people often bear an even heavier burden, especially those who have no stable source of income and rely entirely on humanitarian assistance.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable groups, we provided financial assistance to Mr. Fadi, an elderly man living with his wife in the city of Azaz, northern Syria. Mr. Fadi and his wife face extremely challenging circumstances, as they have no regular income and depend completely on humanitarian aid to meet their daily needs, including food, medication, and other basic necessities.
This financial support helped ease some of the burdens they carry and enabled them to secure essential items that had become difficult to afford due to the ongoing economic crisis and rising living costs. Mr. Fadi and his wife expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this act of kindness, which brought them comfort and reassurance and reminded them that they are not alone during these difficult times.
This assistance would not have been possible without your generosity and continued trust in our humanitarian work. As needs continue to grow and vulnerable families and elderly individuals in northern Syria struggle to survive, your support remains a vital source of hope for those waiting for a helping hand.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and commitment to bringing hope, dignity, and relief to those most in need.
