Dear Donor
In Kafra Camp in northern Syria, Maryam lives alone after losing most of her family members during the long years of conflict that devastated countless Syrian families. Surrounded by memories of loss and hardship, she faces daily challenges in a modest shelter with no breadwinner and no source of income to help meet her most basic needs.
Maryam depends entirely on humanitarian assistance to secure food, medicine, and other essential necessities. However, rising living costs and limited resources make obtaining even the simplest daily requirements an ongoing struggle, leaving her vulnerable and isolated.
As part of our commitment to supporting the most vulnerable individuals, we provided Maryam with a financial assistance grant made possible through the generosity of our donors. This support enabled her to purchase essential items, ease some of the burdens she faces, and regain a sense of security and dignity amid the difficult circumstances of displacement and loneliness.
Maryam’s story reflects the reality of many women who have lost their families and now face life alone in displacement camps. For them, humanitarian assistance is more than material support—it is a lifeline that preserves dignity, offers stability, and reminds them that they have not been forgotten.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors whose generosity made this assistance possible. Your support does more than provide basic necessities; it delivers hope, compassion, and reassurance to individuals who have endured immense loss and continue to struggle for a more secure and dignified future.
