Dear Supporter
In Akhtarin Camp in northern Syria, where hundreds of displaced families endure extremely difficult living conditions, our field team met a young father struggling each day to provide for his little daughter. Displacement and the loss of livelihood opportunities have left him dependent on humanitarian assistance to secure even the most basic necessities for his family.
As part of our bread distribution project, the father and his daughter received their share of freshly baked bread, helping them meet one of their most essential daily food needs. Holding his daughter close, the father expressed his gratitude for this support, which eases some of the burden he carries amid the harsh economic and humanitarian challenges facing displaced families.
Providing bread is more than a food aid intervention; it offers families a sense of security and relief from daily hardship, especially for children, for whom bread remains a staple component of their daily meals.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to reach this family and many others in need throughout Akhtarin Camp, continuing to provide vital humanitarian assistance that preserves dignity and helps families cope with the challenges of displacement.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors whose support brings hope to children and relief to displaced families across northern Syria.
