In the displacement camps of rural Azaz in northern Syria, where thousands of displaced families live far from their homes and livelihoods, the daily struggle to secure basic necessities continues, especially access to food. Children are among the most affected by these difficult circumstances, relying heavily on humanitarian assistance to help ease the burden on themselves and their families.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to distribute bread to children and families in the camp, including the boy featured in this photo. The bread he received will help his family provide daily meals and ease some of the challenges they face amid worsening economic conditions.
Providing bread to displaced families does more than meet an essential nutritional need. It also brings a sense of stability and reassurance, reminding families that they are not alone in facing the hardships of displacement and poverty.
Thank you for your continued generosity and trust. Because of your contributions, we can continue supporting vulnerable children and families and carry forward our humanitarian mission of easing suffering and restoring hope.
