As part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts to support orphaned children in displacement camps across northern Syria, we were able, thanks to your generous donations, to provide financial sponsorship assistance to the orphaned child Basem, who lives with his mother in Nariman Orphan Camp.
The family lives in a simple tent lacking many of the most basic necessities of life, while his mother struggles daily to provide for their needs amid worsening humanitarian and economic conditions in the region. This financial support helped ease part of their suffering and enabled the family to secure some of their essential daily needs that are often difficult to obtain inside the camps.
The happiness and relief seen on Basem’s face and his mother’s expression were deeply moving. They felt that there are still compassionate people who care about their hardship and are willing to stand beside them despite the difficult realities imposed by years of war and displacement.
Your continued support represents a true lifeline for orphaned children living in the camps and helps provide them with greater stability, dignity, and hope for a better future despite the ongoing challenges they face.
Thank you for your humanity, generosity, and continued solidarity with vulnerable families and orphaned children in northern Syria.
