Support Orphans and Families in Gaza & Syria

Amid the severe humanitarian conditions faced by thousands of displaced people in Gaza, our field team continues its efforts to reach the most vulnerable families and provide urgently needed relief assistance. This photo shows one of our dedicated volunteers on his way to a displaced Palestinian family in Abu Jmeiza Camp in northern Gaza, carrying a food basket made possible through the generosity of our donors.

Like hundreds of other families, this household is living in extremely difficult conditions in a tent that lacks even the most basic necessities of life. With ongoing displacement and worsening living conditions, essential food items have become increasingly difficult to obtain, leaving many families completely dependent on humanitarian aid after losing their sources of income.

The food basket contained a variety of essential supplies to help meet the family’s immediate nutritional needs and provide a measure of relief during a time of great hardship. Beyond supplying food, these distributions deliver a powerful message of solidarity and hope, reminding vulnerable families that they are not alone in facing this crisis.

At Amal Al Umma, we remain committed to reaching as many displaced and affected families as possible across Gaza. However, the scale of the humanitarian need continues to exceed available resources, making ongoing support more important than ever.

Guided by these values, Amal Alumma Organization continues its humanitarian mission to reach the most vulnerable communities in Syria and Gaza, providing life-saving assistance that eases suffering and preserves dignity.

Over the past years, our field teams have worked tirelessly in displacement camps, shelters, and crisis-affected communities, implementing a wide range of humanitarian programs that support orphaned children, displaced families, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and households that have lost their livelihoods due to conflict and displacement.

Our humanitarian interventions include the distribution of food baskets, daily bread assistance, clean water provision, hot meal programs, new clothing for children, and financial sponsorships for orphans and vulnerable families. We also organize seasonal relief campaigns during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, aiming to reach as many families as possible and address their most urgent needs.

In northern Syria, our programs support displaced families living in camps under extremely difficult conditions. Food assistance and cash support help reduce daily hardships and provide essential resources needed to maintain a basic standard of living. In Gaza, despite enormous challenges and a complex humanitarian environment, we continue to deliver food, clean water, and emergency assistance to families and children facing extraordinary circumstances.

Behind every project we implement is a human story. Every donation we receive becomes a meal for a hungry family, clothing for a child in need, or clean water for a household struggling to survive. None of these achievements would be possible without the generosity and trust of our donors and partners who believe in the power of humanitarian action to transform lives.
