Hamjambo, Donors (Greetings Donors),
Following the pandemic restrictions, things improved in 2022 in Tanzania. We are making progress with bringing technology to our students, instructors, and staff. Two Orphans Africa Board members visited our projects in Tanzania in September and October, 2022. While there, Board members hand-delivered two laptops to one of our computer skills instructors. Also, additional computers were purchased and put into service. We are proud to report that our vocational students are enjoying a 100% job placement rate! This is thanks to gaining comprehensive skills for an occupation and that is supported by gaining computer and software skills. Also, our secondary (high school) students all graduated with no failures! Some money was also used to add computer and software books and manuals in the library for student use.
It will take time and more donations to fully realize our dream of a full computer laboratory. Yet, the dedication of the instructors and students continue to bring amazing success. Thank you for your support.
