Bring Comfort to Orphaned Children's Dorms

At the LEVE-MOI orphanage in North Kivu, 64 children aged 1–16 need a safe and comfortable place to sleep. For children who have already experienced the loss of parental care, a clean bed, a warm blanket, and protection from mosquitoes can make a meaningful difference in their daily lives. Through this project, we aim to improve their sleeping conditions by providing beds, mattresses, blankets, and mosquito nets, helping create a safer and more supportive environment where every child can rest with dignity.

The project is currently in its preparation and resource mobilization phase. Our team is identifying trainers and learners involved in the upcoming implementation process and preparing the next steps. No funds have been raised so far, and the planned activities have not yet begun. We are seeking to raise $8,000 to provide the essential sleeping materials these children need. Once funding is secured, the project will move forward with the planned distribution and improvements to the dormitories.

We believe that every child deserves more than a roof over their head. Children need rest, comfort, and a sense of security to learn, play, and grow. By improving their sleeping environment, we hope to support their physical well-being, emotional development, and participation in school and other daily activities.
