In 2025, Human Concern USA's health programs delivered life-saving medical care to over 111,000 vulnerable individuals across five countries through seven targeted projects. From emergency surgical interventions and maternal care in Gaza, to primary healthcare in Syria and elderly home care in Bosnia, every project was designed to fill critical gaps left by collapsed or inaccessible healthcare systems — prioritizing the most vulnerable in crisis-affected communities.

• Delivered 7 health projects spanning maternal & child health, surgery, dialysis, elderly care, primary care, and support for medical evacuees

Gaza

• Maternal & Child Health (H79): Served 13,692 individuals in displacement camps — including 1,344 child nutritional screenings, 2,980 pediatric consultations, and 1,785 mental health and psychosocial support sessions
• Surgical Care (H78): Performed 90 surgical procedures at Yafa Hospital and Public Aid Hospital, restoring functional capacity for displaced families amid collapsed healthcare infrastructure
• Dialysis Services (H75): Procured 33 dialysis machines and 2 water desalination units for Gaza hospitals, with 11 units now operational providing life-saving treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease
• Maternity Hospital (H72): The Field Maternity Hospital served 55,797 women — including 6,163 deliveries, 24,625 antenatal care visits, and 15,532 postnatal care consultations

Syria

• Primary Healthcare (H73): Al-Zahrawi Health Center provided care to 39,397 patients, the majority women and children, filling critical gaps left by the closure of nearby health facilities

Bosnia

• Elderly Home Care (H74): Delivered 5,523 home visits to 165 elderly individuals, including health monitoring, psychological support, and distribution of food, hygiene, and medication packages

Egypt & Türkiye

• Medical Evacuees (H70): Supported 2,227+ Gaza medical evacuees with medical check-ups, rehabilitation, mental health care, housing, cash assistance, and education enrollment for 435 children
