It has been over 30 years building this transformative education project, focused on environmental and ecological education, aimed at shaping critical individuals — citizens who are co-responsible and aware of the impact of their actions on the world.
The resources contributed by you and other supporters through this platform have helped maintain our spaces and value the educators who work daily with this noble purpose.
Currently, 130 students — children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 15 — benefit from this community-based education project, which cultivates the values of collaboration, collective care, play, inquiry, and the construction of a meaningful and purposeful learning process.
Families contribute as they can, as we are located in an area of immense natural wealth but with limited job opportunities and income generation.
It is a community that believes in the value of a simple life — with respect for time, relationships, and true human connection — seeking personal development rather than purely economic growth.
This is the construction of a new ethic, one that is rooted in care and in what is essential to life.
As a community, we are experiencing a new reality with the expansion of exploitative tourism — which does not preserve culture and generates a significant amount of waste. It also involves land appropriation and construction that disregards nature, water sources, and lacks proper sanitation infrastructure.
Our school community positions itself as an institution that cultivates sustainable and regenerative knowledge and learning, with initiatives focused on environmental conservation, proper waste management, and consumption reduction to minimize impacts.
Your support is therefore enabling the preservation of an institution that works at the foundation of planetary preservation.
We are all one! We are grateful!
