The Bridge Qualifying Scholarship Program, managed by Etijah, is making a significant impact on education for girls in Egypt. Thanks to the generous donations from our trusting supporters, the program focuses on empowering high school students from marginalized communities across several rural governorates. So far, the program has supported 175 students, equipping them with the skills needed to succeed in their academic journey.
Etijah is proud to share that the program extends beyond helping students gain university admission. It continues to support them throughout their university years, ensuring they have the assistance needed to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Through the program, students will develop critical transferable skills, improve their language proficiency, and strengthen their academic knowledge. These skills prepare them to compete for top educational and employment opportunities.
Program Vision
Looking ahead, Etijah remains steadfast in its mission to empower future leaders. Etijah is focused on broadening students' access to several academic fields, providing them with diverse opportunities to thrive. By expanding the program interventions, Etijah aims to connect students with industry experts who can offer valuable guidance and insight. Furthermore, Etijah is dedicated to strengthening its partnerships with educational institutions worldwide, ensuring students receive comprehensive support. Through these initiatives, Etijah is committed to empowering students from marginalized communities, enabling them to fulfil their ambitions and make meaningful contributions to society.
The program demonstrates the transformative power of education. With the generous support of donors, Etijah is not only helping students access higher education but also ensuring they excel and make a meaningful impact on their lives and their communities. We look forward to reporting and celebrating more of their successes in the future.
