On September 7th we came together at the International YMCA in Jerusalem to celebrate 25 years of the Interfaith Encounter Association and the people who have made this journey possible.
From walking tours around the city and various workshops led by members of our community, to a special greeting of President Herzog, a short talk by Yehuda Stolov remembering how it all began, graduation ceremoney of the alumni of the recent Coordinators Training Course and memories shared around the tables.
The evening culminated in a beautiful performance by Shira Golan, singing in Hebrew and Arabic with participation of the audience..
The day was a celebration of what happens when people choose to meet, listen, and build connections across differences.
