We are very thankful to donors for supporting this program through GlobalGiving. We have organized cancer awareness and screening program in Gajendranagar slum, Srikalahasti, India.
The women community living in slums started knowing about the different cancers, mode of infection and precautions to be taken to prevent them.
The woman in the above picture initially screened for cancer by the STEPS Health Centre gynecologist. She expressed that “cancer awareness provided by STEPS with the support of GlobalGiving is more beneficial to the poor women living in slums and useful for the early diagnosis of cancer.”
These activities are possible because of your support. Thank you for your generosity and for ensuring that poor people get initial cancer awareness and screening to add happiness in their lives.
