YMCA Strong Kids is an annual fundraising campaign. The Strong Kids campaign focuses on raising much needed resources to support proven YMCA programs that give kids the opportunities they need to live healthier, happier lives now, but also to grow into productive adults.
Your generous donation will help the YMCA to ensure people of all ages are healthier and more productive regardless of their background or financial situation.
Strong Kids have opportunities which include: full YMCA Membership, Summer Day Camp, community youth programs, leadership and development programs, Family programs, swim lessons, weight training, sports & recreation, gym and swim.
By giving today, you can help our kids build a better community for tomorrow.
Every kid deserves a chance.
This year, more than ever, our YMCA needs your help.
Supporting Kids in Our Community
Supporting the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign directly supports children, young adults, and families in Brandon and Westman. 1 in 5 children in our YMCA is currently assisted through the campaign. The Strong Kids campaign is our chance to fully realize and fulfill our obligation to all of the children in our community, not just a select few. Each year, the YMCA of Brandon provides Strong Kids memberships to over 600 youth and families.
Strong Kids are referred by YMCA volunteers, the Brandon School Division, Child and Family Services, Big Brothers and Sisters, YWCA, ministers, Mental Health Services, and various other government agencies as well as private individuals.
The need for support never goes away. The YMCA Strong Kids campaign is a fundraiser that runs all year long.
Nearly 400 businesses and individuals support the campaign. Our goal for the 2021 campaign is $100,000.00. Help us get there!
