Mary’s House provides for women and their children who have been victims of domestic violence. This provides opportunity to women who need time beyond their stay in transition houses to make plans to live independently. Women and their children usually stay up to 9 months and our involves in Mary's House programs. Programs offered are: Information Programs, Individual and Group Counselling, Spirit of Healing for Women who have experienced sexual abuse as children, Anger Group for Women, Life Skills, Children’s Counselling, Budgeting, and Education Opportunities. As well Mary's House employs a women’s counselor and children’s counselor who work with families while they are in residence. Counselling services are also available to children who are not in residence.
