Hello, I hope you are all well!
2020 is behind us, but we continue the challenge of difficult and sad days here in Brazil, but this did not discourage us.
Thanks to the donations we received from you in 2020, we were able to afford some operational expenses (storage, distribution, fees, etc.) with the arrival of the first 5,000 kits received from the LEGO Foundation. We are grateful for your donation!
So far we have managed to send some kits to Salvador-Bahia and have started training teachers through lives and online courses.
We are very happy to have started this project, as it will contribute to the learning and social life of blind children in society, especially when they return to schools this year. That is why we depend on your help to speed up this distribution and training process.
The good news is that many people believe that practicing charity is good for you. Since February, we have had special support for the dissemination of this project by a group of 7th grade students from the Graded, the American School of São Paulo, who wanted to make a positive impact in the world. They created their Instagram, Fundraiser Service Learning and reached out to the Dorina Foundation to help us fund our Braille Bricks project!
See below the beautiful testimony of the leaders of this initiative:
“I am a student from Graded, The American School of São Paulo. For years, I have helped the Dorina Foundation with my grandmother and father. With that, Lara and I decided to bring this project to our Service Learning class! Now, all of us are incredibly passionate about this project. It has been an honor to be able to help this awesome foundation. Being able to see the happiness in the kids we help brings me so much joy! For people with visual impairment, physicalities don’t matter; your height, weight, how you look, none of that makes a difference! I find that so incredible, these children, they teach me everyday while I am able to continue to support them, daily! ” Gabi and Lara, student leaders of Fundraiser Service Learning
Incredible, isn't it? Children helping children! This is fantastic!
Do like Gabi and Lara, support our project and be responsible for maintaining the smile of inclusion in Brazil. Share our donation campaign with your friends and family:

We need you on this inclusive journey! Our children thank you for your contribution.
