We have a very successful and exciting year behind us. We'd like to thank all Boxgirls Friends: donors who believe in our work, those who spread the word about girls' right to education or fight against violence against girls and women. We are grateful for every little contribution to our work.

End of November participants of Boxgirls Girl' Afterschool Leadership Education met during a graduation event to celebrate achievements they've made throughout the programme.

Over hundred girls graduated from the programme end of November after 12 weeks of curriculum delivered twice a week by fantastic and supportive peer educators. Girls learned how to protect themselves from violent situations, took part in activities aiming at imporving their self-esteem and self-efficacy. School girls celebrated their big day together with Boxgirls Team, peer educators and volunteers.

A very important goal of Boxgirls Leadership Programme is improvement of girls academic performance which we want to achieve through regular homework support for all programme participants. In Homework Clubs girls mainly solve math tasks and work on improving their English language skills. Girls have very often problems with understanding the test questions. Thus peer educators support girls with understanding the questions so that girls are able to solve mathematic problems by their own at the end of the programme.

We are very proud of all girls who attended Boxgirls Afterschool Leadership Programm over last months. We are looking forward to welcoming 10 new schools and new programme participants already next week.

Thank you for your support!

We wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2016!

Your Boxgirls International Team
