Dear Friends,

Hurray! Last Saturday Primary school Girls organized their own fantastic event on Women's Day at Isikhokelo in Khayelitsha.

Just couple weeks ago Boxgirls started with a new project "Boxgirls Girls' Afterschool Clubs" in five primary schools. It was a very busy and exiting time for girls in Khayelitsha. We are very happy to see, how girls are engaged in the programme, active and taking initiative.

Last Saturday Boxgirls South Africa organized an event, where all participants had a chance to meet and present their work to other girls and adult guests of the event. Girls from all five schools participating in the programme were engaged in preparation of the Women's Day. During the event girls were presenting their different acitivities to teachers, parents, school principles and other guests. The day started with a fantastic and vigorous dance show, followed by choral singing, poems´ recitation, rap show and games. We are very proud of Boxgirls young leaders!

Thank you for supporting these fantastic girls and theri education. With your donation you help girls improve their social skills and become self-confident women.
