Insur is an 8-year-old from Kazakhstan. He suffers from anaplastic large cell lymphoma, which is a rare type of cancer. In the recent years, new targeted medications became available that improve survival significantly. However, Insur's family had to bring him to Turkey for treatment to access these medications. He will also need to undergo bone marrow transplantation from a donor. A search is underway in the Turkish donor registry and it may extend to other national registries. Insur's family has to pay $10,000 for the donor search in Turkey, and they have asked us for support.
Thanks to your donations, we will be able to help Insur's family cover this expense. We appreciate your care for the young patients like Insur who have to travel abroad to access the right care.
