By Ed Pugh | Project Leader
The Blue Cross 50th Year Rescue Fund has got off to a fabulous start, reaching $2875 within the space of 2 months. Edward Pugh, who started the project, completed his challenge of running the Chennai marathon although it was a much bigger challenge than he had thought. With a time of 4 hours 35 minutes he was proud but exhausted!! The supporters of this campaign have helped enormously getting this fundraising project off the ground.
The funds raised so far have been going towards the everyday rescues, needed so often across Chennai. There are calls that come into the office requesting help on such a regular basis and the funds raised make it all the more possible to respond quickly and effectively.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
