Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide over 2500 books to be included in Comfort Cases, helping bring comfort, connection, and a sense of normalcy to children entering foster care.
Books: For children experiencing the trauma and uncertainty of foster care, a book can offer a welcome escape and an opportunity to explore new worlds. Reading can provide comfort during stressful moments, encourage imagination and learning, and give children a chance to simply enjoy a story. Having a book of their own can also provide a sense of consistency and ownership during a time when so much may feel unfamiliar.
Your contributions have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children in foster care. By helping provide books through Comfort Cases, you are giving children opportunities for comfort, imagination, learning, and joy as they navigate a challenging period in their lives.
