This project is aimed at providing bird-friendly tree canopy and meant to be supported by animal care groups and biodiversity conservationalists but for more that three months,there hasn't been any donations as expected from various animal care providers.
Birds' presence in the environment is essential apart from balanced nature.Birds are sensitive and can act as environmental indicator of pollution and climate change. Birds population declines serve as early warning systems for environmental degradation
Insectivorous birds eat up insects that could drastically damage crops and remove need for insectisides.Birds help to dispetse seeds and transfer pollens.
Regretably, the city of Lagos has less trees to shelter birds due to rapid urbanization and development
