This project continues to struggle to raise money with only $1,006 out of the $10,000 goal raised so far.
The additional $600 raised since the last report were used to support graduates of last year's capacity-building program in the Maldives and Oman to start up their own NGOs, called "Reef Check Maldives" and "Reef Check Oman" respectively, build websites for them and assist them in organising reef surveys and conservation activities and to start local fundraising efforts.
