Project Report | Mar 9, 2017
Update and report - March 2017

By Dr. Matthias Hammer | Project leader

Community divers in Muscat, Oman
Community divers in Muscat, Oman

Only $400 have been raised so far for this project. This was spent on boat hire (including tanks and equipment hire) for an historic first community-based reef survey near Muscat, Oman. This involved one of the communities that we want to direct our fundraising efforts towards. The hire was actually OMR 350 (USD 909). The remainder was covered by Biosphere Expeditions and will be reimbursed if/when more funds are raised.

There were no other activities due to the lack of funds, but more efforts will be extended to raise more funds in the coming months.

Thank you to all donors so far. Please keep giving generously.
