Biodigester at The Laboratory of Animal Biology

 Dear  collaborators 

The biodigesters have multiple uses for sanitation.

In the photos attached to the report can be seen from all the faces of biodigesters construction.

This biodigester was installed at the State Center for Animal Health - State of Rio de Janeiro - Inside the Zoo Niterói, RJ.

This is an installation of animal research with 50 administrative staff. Teachers doctors, technicians and other employees.

The Laboratory of Animal Biology, Botanical Garden, located in Niterói since 1939, has structure and specialized technical staff, enabling him to develop studies and research in Animal Health and Nutrition.

Has areas of Bacteriology, Virology, Biotechnology, Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Animal Nutrition and Instrumental Analysis, also performing analyzes of animal products and water to serve the community and contribute with actions to preserve the environment.

Shares of Research in Animal Health and Diagnostic generate fundamental information to support the Superintendency of Sanitary Defense of the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food Supply.

The biodigester seen in the photo will treat domestic wastewater from the administrative part. In another step others will be installed for the treatment of effluents from the laboratories.

This platform philanthropy is very important to the work done.
