Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank all our donors for their kindness and support toward the 150 Bikes for 150 Nigerian Medical Students project. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and gives hope to medical students facing daily transport challenges across Nigeria.
At this time, the amount raised so far can only secure one bicycle for the project. While we are grateful for this important beginning, more support is still needed because we require at least three bicycles to properly roll out the first phase of the project.
Many medical students in public universities continue to walk long distances to reach lecture halls, teaching hospitals, laboratories, and clinical postings. High transportation costs and unreliable public transport place additional stress on students, especially those from low-income families.
Without reliable transportation, many students face fatigue, lateness, missed clinical sessions, and difficulty balancing the demands of medical training.
This project is designed to provide bicycles, helmets, and safety gear for medical students who struggle with daily transportation. The bicycles will help students reduce transport costs, save time, and reach hospitals and classrooms more easily during their training.
We remain hopeful that additional support will help us secure enough bicycles to begin the first phase successfully and support more medical students in need. In future reports, we hope to share photos and updates from the first beneficiaries.
Thank you once again for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
