Our key aim is to see our students becoming independent and self-sufficient adults, able to contribute to the society. We are reaching this aim by assisting young people in getting education and choosing a profession and developing as personalities.
The educational process run by Big Change is organized by academic year periods, commencing in September. Goals are set for each student at the beginning of this period, with interim assessments of results carried out in January, and final assessments made in June.
Currently 50 people are involved in our programs - someone has already started the educational process, others participates in cognitive programs or clarifies their life situation with the help of mentors. Also we hold interviews and diagnostics and make the enrollment. More than 20 people are on the waiting list for our programs.
To continue our work we fundraise money for all of our projects. Now we need you help!
September 16 will be a bonus day on GlobalGiving!
Globalgiving will increase every single donation on 30%! The bonus day will start at 9.00 EDT on 16 September (16.00 of September 16 on Moscow time) and last until the matching funds of GlobalGiving will run out. Funds will likely run out before the end of the day.
