Today I want to tell you about home celebration dedicated to the Last Call at Big Change and our plans for summer.
Our main goal is to prepare young people for independent living so even during celebrations our students participate in organization for the events. In Big Change we have a tradition – work together and relax together. Before the celebration Big Change team with students together carried out the cleaning of the building and set the table. For example Murad dreams to become a cook - excellent, he was instructed to fry sausages on the grill.
The graduates of Big Change told how the study changed their lives. Some told about his new job or college, others that Big Change is now a place with friends for them. They speak so warmly about the years of study at Big Change. It's great to obtain such feedbacks from our students. Listening to them we understood that we are doing our job not in vain.
Despite summer holidays we have a lot of plans on the nearest three months. We are going to conduct educational trips, biological camp, some students will continue to study in June and our students will receive mentor’s help during all that period. For many orphaned children Big Change is not just a school, but a place where they can come to share their success or difficulties, and ask questions. Also Big Change teachers during summer will continue working on analyzing our educational approaches and preparing methodological materials. Goal of this work is to increase the effectiveness of educational programs as well as to describe our methodological approaches in a way that will enable other specialists working with orphaned kids to benefit from our experience.
In 2014-2015 school year we had 76 students at Big Change. That all is possible thanks to your help!
We hope you are inspired and continue to support Big Change educational program. We can’t do it without you!
