In March, we had the second Economic club in 2019.
Imagine that you are thinking about something at home quietly and peacefully or are very busy with urgent matters and then ... a call! "Rather, a suspicious transaction took place on your card, you need to block it as soon as possible, until somebody has withdrawn the money! Name your card number!"
What are you going to do? Give the card number? Or will not? What if it's a scam? Well, when at such a moment a friend appears, who will remind you that banks never ask for a card number on the phone. Have you ever come across scammers? How to recognize them?
What tricks do they often resort to? How to protect yourself?
We discussed these and other issues at a business meeting with our students. Our participants were able to quickly determine which proposals are definitely not worth agreeing to. This time no one lost a single ruble, hurray!
